OSTERIA DA FORTUNATA MILANO NAVIGLI: Reviews & Ratings
This was one of the best places we have had pasta ever. You can see the women hand making the pasta that is going to be consumed. We had the gnocchi Ragu and the gnocchi with oxtails as well as the pesto pasta and the pasta cacio e Pepe. It is a very busy place but the service was phenomenal the people were friendly despite being so busy with the line 15 deep. I would also recommend the deep-fried pumpkin flower with cheese. I would recommend trying to getting there before 7:30. The portions were above average and the prices were completely appropriate . I believe this place is well- deserving of its reputation and we hope to go to this place again.
They have the best tiramisu but the pasta didnt live up to our expectations. Al Ragu was good tho, the carbonara didnt match my Asian taste bud. It was a bit too salty for me, you can get sick of it easily. They were nice and accommodating serving us but as soon as we stop eating, they came and took all the plates away. Sometimes you do want to sit back a little and slowly finish your food. But I see it wasnt the case here.
Best carbonara I had in my life. Literally wanted to lick my plate clean. Service is amazing we stood in a long line and got seats in under 10minutes in Saturday’s peak time. Suggesting the Cesanese Da Fortunata wine and carbonara. During my 6 day trip I came back 3x.
Over all it was a good experience. The carbonara was excellent, the fettuccini was okay. We ordered tiramisu which was top! The sarti Rosa spritz is delicious so try it if you like cocktails! We weren’t very pleased with the service. We had different serveurs and they didn’t really understand what we wanted. But finally we got what we ordered so it was fine.
We waited quite long for the waiter to come to our table but after we ordered the food came quickly. The aubergine was excellent, the best one I’ve ever had. Gnocchi was good (tho a bit too hard), they made it with tomato souce for me (which I’m really grateful for as I can’t eat lactose). Overall we’re really pleased with our visit here and I would recommend this restaurant.
I was satisfied with the taste and the texture of the pasta. First time having homemade pasta and in Milano. Had to wait a couple minutes because there was a line, but after the service was served quite fast and it was good.
